In most cases, leveling is an expected performance of paintIt manifests in the dry film surface being as flat as possible and minimizing surface brush marks, spray points, and other unevenness.
Testing Procedure
Apply the tested paint to a flat substrate using leveling, producing 5 pairs of stripes with different film thicknesses.Maintain the horizontal position of the test board and observe which stripe is clustered together.Usually, when two stripes come together, there is a gap in the middle that is faintly visible, and the gap used at this position is the leveling position.
